The concept behind the Dead Sea Company for Tourism and Real Estate Investment
The company was founded in 2003 in partnership between the King Abdullah II Fund for Development and a group of local and Arab investors with a view to develop the eastern shores of the Dead Sea through implementing a series of creative international projects that help promote for tourism in the Dead Sea area and drive economic growth.
The company implemented several projects including:
- The King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center, which is managed by Hilton. The world-class facility hosts major international, regional and local conferences and other events.

- The Samarah Dead Sea Resort, which is a unique project that consists of luxury residential apartments and entertainment facilities designed in line with the best standards and specifications in this regard.
- The Samara Mall which includes a group of restaurants and is the perfect destination for visitors at the Dead Sea area.
Achievements :
- Building 230 residential units in Samara Dead Sea Resort.
- Creating 197 job opportunities in Samara Mall and the surrounding residential area.
- Creating 377 jobs in the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center and the Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa.
- Constructing 27 meeting halls at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center for hosting conferences and events.
- Attracting 10,000 visitors per week to Samara Mall.
- Investing JD150 million in the Samara Dead Sea Resort.
- Investing JD150 million in the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center and the Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa.
