The King Abdullah II Fund for Development launches the third Cycle
of Social Entrepreneurship Challenge Project that aims to invest in youth skills to creatively develop and find out positive changes in the community.
The competition aims to support Jordanian youth implementing new entrepreneurial projects and/or develop existing projects and encourage them to spread the culture of initiative and active citizenship among them.
The competition targets young people from the age (22-35) under (specific conditions) who have pioneering ideas to solve the problems of their communities. Youth who are interested or looking for support
will be able to apply via the link: (join.kafd.jo) between April 4th to April 17th.
A specialized technical committee will study and evaluate the applications, while the competition will provide financial support to the winning projects up to 5000 Jordanian dinars, as well as providing technical and logistic support.
The competition was launched in 2019 and provided support to (12) projects, including: The Little Leader Project, Jar Education, Our Robot, Alferedo Books, cycle it with Goodness, Decapolis, Saltos, My Right to Learn and Our Hands Talk to the Robot; while the number of provided opportunities reached 1037 direct and indirect opportunities.
