KAFD Launches ‘My Story with the KAFD’ Vodcast

In conjunction with the Kingdom's celebrations of the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II's assumption of constitutional powers, the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD) is set to launch a vodcast series titled "My Story with the KAFD".
The vodcast consists of eight episodes that highlight a number of stories of young men and women who have benefited from the various programs and projects implemented by KAFD since its inception. These young people reflect on their experiences and how these programs and projects have impacted them.
The episodes cover a variety of sectors, including training and career guidance, education and scientific research, volunteering and civic involvement, social entrepreneurship, education for people with disabilities, electronic game development technology, tourism and heritage products, intermediary solutions and leadership, entrepreneurship and education, vocational education, and civil service.
These episodes also showcase the stories of beneficiaries across the nation, representing all the governorates of the Kingdom and featuring how they joined the Fund's projects and the impact of such experiences on their personal and professional life.
The vodcasts will be broadcast sequentially on the KAFD’s social media pages, focusing on the impact realized by the KAFD through implementing these projects, which aim to reflect into facts on the ground His Majesty's vision in various fields to achieve sustainable development, especially in the human resources sector, which is considered a fundamental and genuine cornerstone in the overall development process.
KAFD was the first developmental initiative established by a Royal decree in 2001 as a non-governmental institution aimed at contributing to comprehensive development in all governorates through it’s the programs and initiatives.
